The Rolex Submariner 116610LV or Rolex Hulk as it is affectionately known has steadily become one of the most sought after watches in the entire Rolex back catalogue. A hugely popular model whilst in production by Rolex the Rolex Hulk has become even more of an icon since it's discontinuation in 2020.

The  watch itself is produced exclusively in grade 904L stainless steel making it highly resistant to the harsh elements encountered in a deep sea diving environment. The Hulk however, as it's nickname would suggest is famed for it's distinct green uni directional bezel, framing the green Submariner dial. This green on green combination has proved a roaring success and discontinuation has only accelerated the desire to acquire the unique Rolex Submariner Hulk design.

Originally released in 2010, the Rolex Submariner 116610LV was seen as a replacement for the Rolex Submariner 50th anniversary model, with green steel insert bezel, and black dial, often referred to as the Kermit. As well as the obvious change in dial colour, the most significant enhancement carried by the Rolex Submariner was the introduction of a ceramic, cerachrom bezel offering much better resistance to damage, particularly through scratching or fading in continual exposure to sunlight.

A 10 year production run was brought to an end in 2020, and in a return to the models historical roots, the Rolex Submariner Hulk was replaced in the Submariner collection with a modern version of the 50th Anniversary Kermit. Once again featuring a black dial paired with a green bezel.
