To celebrate of 50 years of the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona, Rolex introduced a spectacular new wonderful collectors’ series, including the first Daytonas ever to have been produced in Platinum. This stunning 116506 model goes one step further in terms of luxury, with the placement of diamonds on the dial.

Marking the 12 hour placement is - as you would expect - the Rolex crown, but at the 3, 6, and 9 hour markers you will find a princess cut diamond, with each remaining baton marker replaced with a fine-cut baguette cut stone.

To complete the dial, the chestnut brown sub dial outlines have been replaced with ice blue in order to maintain this colour across the complete face of the watch.
