Top 10 Mens Rolex Watches 2018

2018 has been an interesting year in the watch market with a number of changes in the UK affecting the sale of Rolex watches. There’s been some great new men’s Rolex watches released at Baselworld 2018 including the highly anticipated Oystersteel ‘Pepsi’ as well as new Everose gold GMT’s. The ‘Federer’ dial has returned to the Datejust 41 collection, but we’ve also lost some old friends like the Chocolate dial Sky-Dweller. As well as this, Rolex have seemingly cut production numbers reducing supply into a market that is already heavily oversubscribed. This has led to increased scarcity of the most desirable models, resulting in a sharp increase in market prices.

Given this backdrop, the best selling men’s Rolex watches and the most in demand are not necessarily the same thing. Here’s our top 10 best selling men’s Rolex watches of 2018 so far, you’ll see the effect availability has had on the market as a whole and get an insight into which watches maybe more difficult to find.

1. Rolex GMT-Master II 116710 BLNR ‘Batman’

Once again there’s been insatiable demand for this watch. Each time one arrived in stock it barely hits the desk before it heads back out of the door - rumours of discontinuation have probably fuelled the demand.

The new Rolex GMT BLRO ‘Pepsi’ comes equipped with a new improved calibre 3285 movement, and it seems only a matter of time before all models carrying the previous calibre 31xx series movements are phased out. The title of best selling men’s Rolex 2018 at Global Watch Shop goes to the Rolex GMT Batman.
