IWC Pilot
One of the most popular watches in the IWC collection, the Pilot is aimed at aviators, with a robust design and an array of superb features useful for navigating the skies. These include an arrowhead index for noting short periods of time and high-visibility hands and numerals for easy viewing at night.
Launched in 1936, the Pilot was originally designed according to military specifications. With a simple, instrument-inspired appearance - well suited to quick reading - the watch became the official model of the RAF for many years. Despite continually re-inventing itself over the decades, the Pilot always retained its uncluttered, stylish appearance. New additions have included a split-second function and the industry-standard UTC with an automatic time zone corrector, as well as an enlarged case to ensure the dial remains easy to read.
